Deanery of Clinical Sciences / Institute for Regeneration and Repair (IRR) / Centre for Regenerative Medicine (CRM) / CMVM
Part time: 28 hours per week
Open ended: Permanent
The Opportunity:
The Institute for Regeneration and Repair is at a key phase in its development. We have a new building, which opened last year, on the Edinburgh BioQuarter. In tandem with this we are in the process of delivering a single unified professional services support structure for the Institute. This is an excellent opportunity for a member of staff to join an institute-wide collaborative team, have significant impact and support the delivery of novel and exciting research and development by our staff and students.
This post is part-time (28 hours per week), and we are open to considering flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
Your skills and attributes for success:
- Demonstrable relevant experience and evidence of progression in a similar senior administrative role.
- Educated to at least Higher Standard or equivalent (minimum Higher English)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to use initiative, to cope under pressure, to maintain strict confidentiality, to meet tight deadlines and show flexibility.
- A high level of competence with Microsoft Office, e‐mail and the internet.
