Storeman- Edinburgh Zoo (with driving license) - #1210113

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Storeman to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Edinburgh Zoo on a permanent full time basis, 40 hour contract.As a Storeman, you will use your skills to maintain a high standard of quality work. • Unloading goods.


• Receiving Temperature control goods and checking against invoice.


• Inspecting for damage.


• Moving goods around (including transporting them to another unit with company vehicle)


• Stocking shelves.


• Stacking bulky goods safely.


• Picking goods from shelves and recording their movements.


• Data entry and paperwork/ stock taken 


• Moving heavy pallets and goods around unit


• Completing ordering form


• Physically demanding

  To be successful candidate:

  
  
  
  
  • driving license is a MUST
  
  
  • good communication skills, written and oral in English
  
  
  • flexible attitude
  
  
  • ability to adhere to all H&S and Food Safety practices
  
  
  • previous food handling/catering experience advantageous
