Job Type: Fixed Term Contract (6 months) 

Location: This role would be based in our Edinburgh offices with time spent working in the office and at home.  Expectation would be 2 days a week in the office.

Salary and benefits: £45,000 - £50,000 depending on experience plus 16% bonus up to 32%, private medical cover, 38 days annual leave, excellent pension, 12x salary life assurance, career breaks, income protection, 3x volunteering days and much more

The role  

As the Research Manager supporting our customer communication testing, you'll lead end-to-end research and testing initiatives, delivering actionable insights. You'll collaborate with internal teams, third parties, and stakeholders across our group's businesses to fulfil research needs. By designing tailored methodologies, analysing findings, and providing recommendations, you'll contribute to a holistic understanding of consumer behaviours and drive the programme's success within a collaborative environment. 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end research and testing initiatives for customer communication testing, assessing and selecting suitable research methodologies.


• Collaborate with internal teams, third parties, and stakeholders across our group's businesses to gather insights and fulfil research needs.


• Design and deploy tailored research methodologies, ensuring their appropriateness for the objectives at hand.


• Analyse findings and generate actionable recommendations, utilising the selected research methodologies.


• Effectively communicate research insights through presentations and workshops.


• Integrate diverse data sources to gain a holistic understanding of consumer behaviours.


• Ensure high-quality deliverables and contribute to the programme's success within a collaborative environment.

What are we looking for?

Essential:

• Practical market research experience either agency or in-house


• Understanding and application of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, particularly in relation to communications testing


• Ability to apply analytical skills to answer strategic business questions / challenges


• Strong stakeholder management, ability to manage and engage with stakeholders across all levels of the business


• Ability to turn research findings into actionable insight and presenting this in an engaging way

Desirable:

• o   Financial Services experience


• o   Working understanding of Consumer Duty
