Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Estates to lead our Estates team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience managing listed buildings, strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, and a proven ability to oversee complex estate operations. This role offers the flexibility of hybrid working, combining office presence with remote work.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Oversee the maintenance, conservation, and enhancement of the college's estate, including listed buildings.

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for estate management, ensuring alignment with the college's goals and objectives.

  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, promoting a safe environment for students, staff, and visitors.

  • Manage and lead the Estates team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Coordinate with external contractors, architects, and conservation specialists to ensure high standards of work and compliance with heritage guidelines.


Qualifications:



  • Significant experience in estate management, particularly with listed buildings.

  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.

  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and budgets.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
