We have an opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our team in Edinburgh. As a Project Engineer specializing in Space Engineering here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for managing and executing complex projects related to satellite solutions for space missions. You will work closely with our customers in the space industry to support the design, development, and delivery of advanced systems and solutions. Your expertise in space engineering and project management will be instrumental in ensuring the successful execution and delivery of these projects.

Project Engineer responsibilities

·         You will be responsible for cost, quality and time metrics of projects where RF and Microwave subsystems are designed and developed for the defense and space industry.

·         Use SAP in order to create BOMs, create demands and procure parts

·         Looking after a project from cradle to grave including supporting the bidding team with cost & schedule estimation

·         Carry out budget analysis and have cost control over labour and materials

·         Risk management and managing this with opportunity development
