Insights

The team's goal is to create new revenue streams by exploring opportunities in new and adjacent markets and applying our intellectual property to solve next-gen business and customer problems.

As a high-impact team, FX identifies and develops business opportunities and value propositions by assessing their commercial desirability, feasibility, and viability.

Success involves recommending or rejecting ideas based on research through a three-stage evidence and validation process. As the Manager of FX Incubators, you oversee a team of designers and researchers, manage project delivery and prioritisation, and ensure high-quality deliverables.

We are looking for a pragmatic and impact-driven Applied Researcher to join our Future Experiences (FX) team. If you thrive in a business setting, love to see research create impact and possibly have experience in start-up or scale up environments, this role could be perfect for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Design research plans focused on gathering the right information to support critical product decisions.

  • Work within time constraints, ensuring research aligns with and informs project timelines.

  • Deliver insights that guide strategic decisions, such as identifying new product opportunities and avoiding ineffective markets.

  • Collaborate across departments, fostering a strong research community within Insights.

  • Share your views and insights openly within the team, contributing to a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

  • Provide research input at different stages of product Incubators and Lifecycle, ensuring informed decision-making throughout the process.

What You Bring

  • Hands-on research experience in a business setting, ideally in a fast-paced or start-up environment.

  • A pragmatic mindset, balancing rigorous research with business realities and deadlines.

  • Strong ability to synthesize data into actionable insights, driving tangible impact.
