Sandbanks has significant popularity within the football community as the official arrival wear partner for AFC Bournemouth, with their designs worn by players, managers, pundits, and celebrities alike.


Role Overview


As a Fashion Designer at Sandbanks, you will work alongside experienced industry professionals, contributing innovative ideas and design expertise to their collections. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on sustainable luxury fashion, from conceptualizing new designs to supporting the development process.


Key Responsibilities


• Collaborate with the design team on new collection concepts


• Create mood boards, sketches, technical drawings, tech packs, and BOMs


• Research latest trends, materials, and sustainable techniques


• Support the entire design process from initial concept to final product


• Communicate with suppliers and manufacturers via email and PLM systems


• Oversee sampling processes from concept to finished product


• Perform quality control through garment measurement checks


Requirements


• Degree or relevant experience in Fashion Design


• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and design software


• Strong communication and teamwork abilities


• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines


• Passion for sustainability and ethical fashion


• Experience or understanding of classic/casual menswear


• Willingness to develop new product categories including accessories and womenswear
