EMEA Credit Analyst - Healthcare - Edinburgh, UK

This will be a hybrid role and you will be in the office twice a week, with the

remainder of the time working from home.

Meet The Team

This is a new role in EMEA Cash Collections team, based in Edinburgh, UK with a direct reporting line to EMEA Cash Collections Manager.

The team is part of EMEA Finance Operations O2C team managing Billing, Cash Collections and AR Cash Application operations in 3 locations: Edinburgh, UK; GBS Vilnius, Lithuania; and Mainz, Germany.

Your main focus will be on in-depth Analytics & Insights for both EMEA Credit Risk and Cash Collections as well as bringing recommendations and implementing actions to improve performance and process efficiencies.

Where You Come In

  • You will be responsible for EMEA Credit Risk and Cash Collections detailed analysis & insights (using D&B Finance Analytics, excel, Tableau dashboards, power query reports etc) to understand customers financial standing and regional AR performance as well as bring improvements
  • You will be driving actions for the regional Cash Collections and Credit Risk process standardization and automation, challenging existing procedures and proposing effective improvement changes
  • You will work with EMEA Cash Collections Manager to implement the agreed improvements and actions (like process optimalization, customer query resolution analytics, IT enhancements, RPA automation) working with other DXCM functions (like IT, Finance, Billing, Inside Sales, GBS RPA and GBS Transformation teams)
  • You will perform annual and ad hoc credit risk analysis for EMEA distributors based on D&B customer credit reports
  • You will be managing EMEA credit risk process including credit risk reviews, customer credit limit recommendations, process documentation updates
  • You will be managing EMEA customer payment terms process including payment terms analysis and recommendations, process documentation updates, working closely with the Business
  • In approx. 15% you will be supporting EMEA Billing analysis

What Makes You Successful

  • Advanced knowledge and experience in Cash Collections operations and process
  • Some knowledge and previous experience in credit risk analysis (essential)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills is a must on this role
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookup, conditional formatting, macros etc.)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Action and result -oriented approach, capable to work efficiently with goals and targets
  • Great attention to details with experience of maintaining accurate documentation and following procedures
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment as company continues to grow
  • Self-starter capable to work independently without daily supervision

Experience And Education Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2-5 years of related experience.

Flex Workplace: Your primary location will be a home office. You will not have an assigned workstation and will work with your manager to determine office visit needs. You must live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km).
