Salary: £32,761.35 per annum Total Salary (Inclusive of Standby Payment (1:4 x 13 Periods) + Overtime + Travel Time

About The Role

Due to continued growth within our Pest Control division, we are excited to offer a new opportunity for a skilled Pest Control Technician to join our dynamic team. Working with a range of prestigious UK clients, you'll deliver comprehensive pest control services, including inspection, treatment, proofing, and reporting, across a variety of sites such as stores, food halls, depots, and offices.

You'll be responsible for identifying pest activity, advising on environmental risks, and providing detailed reports while ensuring all activities comply with Health & Safety and hygiene regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of pest-related issues, including infestations, cleaning, and proofing.
  • Respond promptly to emergency call-outs from the Helpdesk.
  • Conduct site visits in accordance with service schedules and client specifications.
  • Carry out detailed inspections and accurately document findings and recommendations.
  • Perform proofing works and pest deterrent installations within technical capability.
  • Provide clear communication—both verbal and written—to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Escalate concerns and pest activity to site management and relevant teams as needed.
  • Ensure strict adherence to company Health & Safety and COSHH policies when handling pesticides.

Essential

Qualifications & Experience:

  • RSPH Level 2 Award in Pest Management (or equivalent)
  • Full UK driving license
  • Proven experience in pest control environments

Desirable

  • Experience in retail, leisure, or FM sectors
  • Bird proofing knowledge
  • General building/fabrication skills
  • Competence with digital reporting tools and basic PC literacy
