- Our Investments business is a specialist asset manager that focuses on areas where we have both strength and scale to capitalise on the key themes shaping the market, through either public markets or alternative asset classes.
About the Department
The Sales function is responsible for new business and revenue generation, supporting customers in finding products, solutions, and services that best meet their needs. The Intermediary area sells the firm's products and services through non-affiliated or third-party intermediaries who, in turn, sell these products to individuals. The Model Portfolio Sales focus specializes in selling the firm's model portfolio capabilities to both existing distribution partners and newer financial technology or digital wealth providers.
About the Role
You will play a key role in the identification and qualification of growth opportunities and supporting the pitch process, optimising the pre and post-sale client experience to drive delivery of commercial targets. You will provide market-leading pre and post-sales collaboration with the UK Adviser Sales teams and clients by working in partnership with Sales colleagues and other key internal relationships across the Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Sales team in the attainment of inflow and net flow targets, playing a critical role in driving quality leads.
- Manage team panel of firms looking for all opportunities to partner with the firm on platforms.
- Research, analyse, and prepare proposition analysis/pitch material within agreed timescales using appropriate material and agreed criteria.
- Maintain key databases, ensuring accurate updating of Salesforce and other CRM systems as appropriate to hold up-to-date client account intelligence, insight, and contact details from fact-find conversations with clients.
- Achieve required industry activity standards and complete call coaching assessments to maintain focus on colleague and client experience and quality of delivery.
- Provide appropriate proactive and forward support on all trading campaigns, event follow-up, and local initiatives to help convert opportunities, achieve key targets, and drive revenue.
- Build and strengthen relationships with both internal and external networks and contacts.
- Analyse information gained from advisers and clients alongside internal data & MI to produce high-quality, accurate internal reports, presenting information clearly with recommendations to influence future activity in Sales.
- Review, qualify, and share lead opportunities to wider Sales colleagues within agreed thresholds and in line with prescribed targets.
About the Candidate
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Experience working in a fast-paced Sales environment, including lead generation and conversion, whilst managing multiple priorities and variable targets.
- Demonstrate an accurate and up-to-date market and industry knowledge to ensure credibility when engaging with advisers.
- Good understanding of client agency setups and relationships to ensure appropriate messaging and targeting.
- Confidently work with data and maintain critical systems such as Salesforce to agreed quality standards.
- Ability to work on own initiative and unsupervised, identifying and qualifying new opportunities.
- Achieved RO1 qualification and/or working towards diploma
