You will work within the Energy Delivery Team to assist colleagues in achieving Natural Resources Wales (NRW)'s remit for renewable energy targets in Wales, applying the principles of Sustainable Management of Natural Resources (SMNR) to your work. You will act as a senior supplier for civil engineering. You may also be required to act as an executive for projects including board reporting and risk management, within strict governance procedures.

You will direct other technical / engineering staff within the team, and may lead them through complex or highly technical specialist programmes of work. You will be required to work on a number of projects simultaneously and are expected to provide leadership across our project portfolio. You will report to the Energy Delivery Team Leader, in the Northeast Operations structure. This exciting and challenging role will part-resource an additional new Welsh Government service level agreement. You will be externally facing and have considerable responsibility for managing relationships with third party organisations and contractors.

As an organisation we support flexible working. You will be contracted to an NRW office within the place base / location above and a suitable hybrid working pattern will be agreed on appointment. Any regular face to face meetings or training will be planned in advance.

Interviews will be face to face (details of time and location will be shared in advance)
