Handyman
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance/Handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of skills, including knowledge of plumbing; electrical and joinery works. This role requires a proactive individual who can respond to maintenance requests and perform repairs in a timely manner while ensuring high standards of workmanship.
Duties
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on buildings, fixtures, and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical; plumbing or carpentry areas, as well as general maintenance issues that arise within the properties.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems and carry out necessary repairs.
- To communicate with the Management Team to identify and prioritise maintenance works to be carried out.
- To communicate effectively regarding the timescales involved to carry out repairs or maintenance and to identify if specialist support is required.
- Maintain an organised workspace, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly and ensure that health and safety standards are met.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in maintenance or maintenance person roles with a strong plumbing and/or electrical background.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and maintaining high-quality standards in all tasks.
