A role you will love 

As a Technical Delivery Lead, your role is pivotal in supporting the delivery of web and mobile channel applications for our value streams, ensuring engineering excellence and strategic alignment in our multi-year digital program.

Your role will play a crucial part in cultivating a high-performance team culture, focused on delivering exceptional results.  Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping the methodologies and practices within the team. 

Other key responsibilities: 

• Serve as the primary point of contact for the channel applications within a value stream, fostering strong collaborative relationships with the Product Manager, Value Stream Delivery Lead and Value Stream Architect. 


• Ensure clear communication and alignment across all levels of management and stakeholders.


• Oversee the planning and resource allocation to deliver the value stream effectively. 


• Ensure delivery is in line with value stream objectives as well as engineering standards, maintaining transparency and consistency with the team’s methodologies.


• Employ your extensive technical experience to identify and resolve challenges, keeping the delivery process on track. 


• Proactively manage dependencies and anticipate potential obstacles to maintain continuous progress.


• Ensure the team is well-equipped to handle current tasks while being prepared for future challenges.


• Excel in articulating complex information in a clear and concise manner. 


• Produce comprehensive reporting and project artifacts, providing clear visibility of progress to stakeholders across various levels.

What will you bring to the role

We’re seeking a passionate Technical Delivery Lead, who’s ready for their next challenge. As a Technical Delivery Lead, you will be able to collaborate and communicate well, build great working relationships, influences others, challenge effectively and respond well to challenge from others. You will also be comfortable sharing information and ideas with others.

Some other key skills you’ll have: 

• Experience working as a Senior Developer/Team Leader working within a delivery team environment.


• Significant experience in web and mobile applications, ideally with React Native experience.


• Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and partners.


• Excellent people management and leadership skills including technical mentoring of software development staff.


• Excellent analytical and research skills with the ability to collect and analyse complex material and data and present it in accessible formats.


• Proven ability to successfully gather requirements and get results with minimal supervision.


• High levels of initiative with ability to deal with multiple projects simultaneously with conflicting priorities.
