Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in managing all kitchen operations, ensuring quality, efficiency, and consistency.
- Contribute to menu development with creative and seasonal dishes.
- Lead and mentor the kitchen team, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking, ensuring all dishes meet our high standards.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised kitchen, complying with all health and safety regulations.
- Assist with ordering, inventory management, and food cost control.
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or a Senior Chef de Partie ready to take the next step.
- Strong culinary skills with a passion for working with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients.
- Leadership abilities with a focus on teamwork and development.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and maintain composure in a busy kitchen.
