In this role, you’ll be at the heart of Agile delivery—working with passionate, cross-functional teams to solve complex problems and deliver high-impact outcomes. You won’t just be running ceremonies—you’ll be a coach, a facilitator, a problem-solver, and a champion of Agile values.


As the Scrum Master, you will be responsible for creating an environment where your team can thrive, grow, and deliver high-quality products. You’ll play a key role in shaping the way work gets done—helping teams stay focused, removing barriers, and driving continuous improvement in both process and delivery.


Contract position-11 months - £250 inside IR35 - Hybrid Gaydon


Your core responsibilities will include:



  • Coaching the team on Agile principles and the Scrum framework, ensuring everyone understands their roles and responsibilities

  • Guiding the team to deliver outcomes aligned with business priorities, working closely with the Product Owner

  • Maintaining clarity and focus by ensuring that sprint goals, backlog items, and scopes are well understood

  • Facilitating Scrum events—Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives—ensuring they’re effective and outcome-driven

  • Proactively identifying and addressing blockers and impediments that could impact the team’s progress

  • Helping the team select and manage tools for backlog refinement and sprint tracking

  • Fostering a safe, collaborative, and transparent environment that encourages open communication and knowledge sharing

  • Supporting team health by monitoring dynamics, resolving tensions, and promoting a culture of trust and mutual respect

  • Acting as a shield for the team from unnecessary distractions or external interference

  • Collaborating with other Scrum Masters and Agile leaders to strengthen Agile maturity and share best practices

  • Driving continuous improvement through regular feedback loops and team-driven experimentation


What We’re Looking For


We’re seeking an experienced Scrum Master with a strong grasp of Agile principles and a proven track record of guiding high-performing teams. You should be comfortable coaching teams, facilitating Scrum events, and removing obstacles to delivery.


You’ll need:



  • Hands-on experience as a Scrum Master in tech or engineering environments

  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder management skills

  • A collaborative, problem-solving mindset

  • Familiarity with tools like Jira or Azure DevOps

  • Scrum Master certification (e.g. PSM, CSM) preferred

  • Added bonus if you have Automotive/manufacturing
