Patient Administrator | Spire Murrayfield | Full-Time | Permanent – Excellent Benefits
Spire Murrayfield Hospital is currently looking to recruit for a Patient Services Administrator on a full time and permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team and have a great impact.
The hours are on a rota basis, between Monday to Friday (7:30am-6pm). The shift patterns would be either 07:30-15:30, 09:00-17:00 or 10:00-18:00.
Saturdays are on a team rotation and this would be on a 1 in 6 basis (9:00am-1:00pm).

Patient Administrator | Spire Murrayfield | Full-Time | Permanent – Excellent Benefits
Spire Murrayfield Hospital is currently looking to recruit for a Patient Services Administrator on a full time and permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team and have a great impact.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Maintain and update patient records on the hospital computer system
- Process payments / collect credit card and private medical insurance details over the telephone
- Receive bookings and liaise with internal departments via the telephone
- Booking patients surgical procedures and any necessary pre-operative tests
- Face to face and telephone liaison with consultants providing information where requested and booking surgical procedures
- Previous relevant experience in an administrative support role
- Experience of working independently and on own initiative
- Comfortable working to deadlines and ability to work under pressure
- A real team player
- Previous experience in healthcare (Desirable)
