The Product Quality & Reliability Engineer will develop reliability plans and tests to ensure that Dukosi products comply with relevant industry standards and customer requirements. The engineer will manage subcontract partners to ensure that reliability stresses are executed correctly and within project timelines and budget. The engineer will be responsible for all aspects of product reliability, from pre-qualification of prototype material to ongoing reliability testing in mass production.

 

KEY DUTIES

  • Work closely with Dukosi Design, Test and Product Engineering to identify product and process risks that influence reliability & quality and define risk mitigation strategies
  • Develop pre-qualification and full qualification plans for each product development that satisfy relevant industry standards and customer requirements
  • Liaise with key suppliers to ensure all infeed components and processes are qualified to required industrial standards.
  • Ensure that each product reliability budget is correct with respect to timescales and cost
  • Manage 3rd party reliability test vendors to ensure that qualification plans are executed as per plan
  • Conclude and report reliability qualifications
  • Manage reliability and qualification activities throughout product safe launch, ongoing reliability monitoring and change management.
  • Communicate effectively to customers Dukosi qualification plans and results
  • Manage customer returns, ensuring effective communication with customers on progress, and work closely with Dukosi Product Engineering to determine containment and corrective action measures
  • Develop and maintain cost of poor-quality metrics (COPQ)
  • Develop and maintain supplier and product ongoing quality metrics for production
  • Responsible for reliability modelling and prediction, fault tree analysis, Weibull analysis, etc
  • Work closely with Dukosi Design, Test and Product Engineering to ensure adequate reliability of Dukosi product developments.

Requirements

  • Must be at least a BEng Electronics or Electrical engineering graduate (or similar applicable field)
  • Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in semiconductor reliability testing, automotive, mixed signal, Flash and RF
  • Experienced with IC reliability stress methods such as HTOL, bHAST, HTS, ESD, LU, etc
  • Knowledge of entire Semiconductor Fabrication, assembly, test, and Q&R flow
  • Knowledge of semiconductor and package reliability failure mechanisms
  • Experienced with common problem-solving tools, such as 8D, Ishikawa diagram, 5-why, etc
  • Experienced with Failure Mode Effect Analysis FMEA
  • Knowledgeable in fault isolation and failure analysis techniques
  • Knowledge of automotive and industrial IC reliability standards such as AECQ100 and IEC60068
