Labourer - Vehicle Examination Workshop
Location: Edinburgh West
Hourly Rate: £13.48
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 36 hours per week
Job Type: Full-time, Temporary Ongoing
We are looking for a practical and safety-conscious Labourer to support operations in our busy Vehicle Examination Workshop.
Responsibilities:
Assist Vehicle Examiners by safely operating vehicle lights, steering, and brakes when instructed.
Work at slight heights while vehicles are positioned on ramps.
Carry out general housekeeping to keep the workshop clean and safe.
Communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
Show initiative and a willingness to learn about vehicle systems and workshop procedures.
Requirements:
A full UK driving licence is essential.
Comfortable working at slight heights.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
An interest in motor vehicles and basic mechanical understanding is an advantage.
Reliable, punctual, and safety-aware.
