About this opportunity

As an Audit Analyst, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality audits. You will own the design and operational evaluation testing of key controls, applying your proficient knowledge of audit methodology and assigned risk areas.

You will act as a proactive team member with a growth mindset, positively contributing to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the audit process. Your contributions will support the ongoing development and improvement of Group Audit & Conduct Investigations (GA&CI) through a strategic and integrated audit focus, collaboration, and agile delivery methods.

Day to day, you will:

  • Contribute to the audit plan by delivering specified outcomes and providing support as directed within the Audit Team.

  • Support control testing, identify areas of concern, and articulate potential challenges.

  • Assist senior colleagues and build meaningful stakeholder relationships.

  • Conduct research from multiple perspectives and bring the outside in to analyse key themes and external trends.

  • Boldly suggest improvements in current compliance processes.

  • Actively role model the Group's values and behaviours.

  • Proactively identify, address, and drive personal development opportunities, fostering a positive learning culture through effective coaching.

  • Freely share insights and provide timely, direct, and effective feedback that contributes to the success of the delivery plan and leaves a positive, sustainable impact on the function.

Why Lloyds Banking Group

Like the modern Britain we serve, we're evolving. Investing billions in our people, data and tech to transform the way we meet the ever-changing needs of our 26 million customers. We're growing with purpose. Join us on our journey and you will too!

What you'll need:

  • The ability to lead and take ownership for delivery, and champion colleagues' growth and development.

  • The ability to deliver risk and control assurance activity that is timely, impactful, insightful and valued by stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated understanding of how our consumer business is evolving to enhance our digital capabilities whilst maintaining the provision of outstanding customer service, including first-hand experience of our customer channels.

  • The ability to understand and interpret Group and Business Unit Strategy and connect audit delivery and business monitoring insights to such strategies at the Macro level.

  • The ability to analyse, understand and communicate data as information, and to use data to drive effective audit outcomes.

  • The ability to prioritise your work and that of others effectively to ensure timely and value-added delivery.

And any experience of these would be really useful:

  • Prior exposure to our consumer products and services, whether it's bank accounts and savings, or products that help us continue to be the UK's leading lender of mortgages, cards, loans and car finance and leasing.

  • Previous financial services audit or risk experience.

And it's why we especially welcome applications from under-represented groups. We're disability confident. So, if you'd like reasonable adjustments to be made to our recruitment processes, just let us know

We also offer a wide-ranging benefits package, which includes:

* A generous pension contribution of up to 15%

* Share schemes including free shares
* Benefits you can adapt to your lifestyle, such as discounted shopping
