As the HSCP prepares itself for the challenges of the future and ensures that it meets its strategic objectives, it is essential that we focus on delivering a safe, effective and responsive service. This is an exciting time for the HSCP as we continue take forward a range of improvements designed to provide better outcomes or people, but also create a positive place to work.

The Access and Emergency Care Service Manager will provide a pivotal role in ensuring that we are able to deliver the ambitions that we have and remain proactive in meeting the future needs of our population.

You will have successfully led the development and implementation of service strategic plans.

You will have a sound understanding of integrated working and current social care, primary care and intermediate care agendas.

You can demonstrate an ability to make complex, contentious decisions and communicate them effectively and sensitively, managing any conflict that may arise.

You will have an ability to identify and provide innovative solutions to a variety of complex and multi-faceted service and managerial issues.

If you are looking for more information about the role, please contact Matt Kennedy, Head of Service, ************@edinburgh.gov.uk
