We're looking for a diligent finance professional, who can deliver robust financial oversight, complete financial processes and reporting activities for the business. This role will ensure that financial transactions are conducted effectively and that measures are in place to best forecast and track financial performance. They will work with business leaders to identify actions necessary to drive effective performance and provide strategic financial guidance to support growth.


Duties include:



  • Ensuring all appropriate mechanisms are in place for financial control and performance reporting

  • Preparing financial reports for the leadership team and wider organisation

  • Preparation of budgets

  • Partnering with leaders and colleagues to ensure that they are aware of and understand expected financial tracking and reporting

  • Managing accounting records

  • Evaluating and managing risk

  • Ensuring compliance and regulation

  • Preparing financial statements and accounts

  • Analysing financial data

  • Financial governance and audit compliance

  • Oversight of all matters which have financial implications for the business

  • Review, amend (where necessary) and input into new and existing client contracts as reasonably required


Qualifications



  • Professional certifications – CA, CIMA and/or ACCA

  • Financial control experience in a busy performance driven environment, agency/service business experience would be an advantage

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in contributing and overseeing business performance as well as completing the necessary day to day activities

  • Proven ability to build strong trusting relationships quickly, can be influential with leaders and colleagues

  • Business partnering skills

  • Proactive thinking and active engagement with the business, developing a good understanding of the services we offer, and with that how to effectively manage profitability and efficiency

  • Ability to make finance understandable and accessible for all
