FM Search & Select Ltd are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our team, working on a variety of domestic properties across Edinburgh and the East of Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and skilled professional to work within a growing and supportive team, delivering high-quality maintenance services to a wide range of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs in domestic properties

• Undertake testing, inspection, and certification in line with regulations

• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently and safely

• Liaise with tenants, homeowners, and colleagues to ensure clear communication and customer satisfaction

• Ensure all works are completed in line with current electrical regulations and health & safety guidelines

• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used

• Respond to reactive callouts and support planned maintenance schedules

Requirements:

• Recognised electrical qualification (e.g., SVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, etc.)

• Proven experience in electrical maintenance in domestic environments

• Good working knowledge of current electrical regulations and standards

• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

• Full UK driving licence

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Desirable:

• Experience with EICRs and remedial works

• Additional building maintenance experience (basic plumbing, joinery, etc.) is a plus

• ECS Card or equivalent
