· Adviser: Provides financial planning solutions and technology for UK financial advisers, enabling them to create value for their customers.
· Investments: A specialist asset manager focusing on areas where we have both strength and scale to capitalize on the key themes shaping the market, through either public markets or alternative asset classes.
About the role
The Transfer Agency Oversight & Service Delivery department is dedicated to ensuring the highest level of customer service within agreed service standards both internally and externally on internal and outsourced administration. The department is committed to continuous improvement and achieving daily, personal, and team targets.
The Transfer Agency Oversight & Service Delivery Specialist will be responsible for answering internal and client queries regarding administration issues, processing work efficiently to meet customer expectations, and providing the highest level of customer service. The role involves ensuring compliance with departmental guidelines, contributing to compliance checks, and participating in continuous improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service
Answering internal and client queries regarding administration issues where required
To efficiently process work to meet customer expectations at reasonable cost
To provide the highest level of customer service within agreed service standards both internally & externally on internal and outsourced administration
Department/Procedures
To process work on a 'right first time' basis with minimal checking and the appropriate level of support and guidance.
To understand & operate within Department Guidelines and in line with relevant Authorisation, Legislation & Compliance Rules
To contribute to the success of departmental Compliance checks (i.e. with no or only minimal issues raised)
To participate in continuous improvement in key business and/or Management Activities
Commitment to achieving daily, personal & team targets and frequent and appropriate suggestions for improvements
Commitment to assisting TPAs in improving their services to Aberdeen via error effective ongoing communication
Trail/Commissions
Complete/Calculate the onshore/offshore trailer fee process.
Complete/Calculate the onshore/offshore rebate process.
Handle all queries associated with onshore/offshore trail/rebate.
To control and maintain the broker discount list for onshore/offshore
To assist in preparation of trail control reports
To assist in analysis and resolution of trail / rebate queries as required
To assist in trail reconciliations as required
To process work within agreed turnaround times in order to meet team targets, thereby demonstrating effective time management skills and the ability to judge assess priorities effectively.
Training & Development
To obtain the relevant Industry Training/Qualifications
To enthusiastically take part in Self/Team Development and training & personally review Departmental Performance Plans & Achievement records
Maintenance of Training Records (CPD)
Enthusiastic participation in Appraisals and completion of the relevant documentation
About the Candidate
Experience working for an Asset Manager
Transfer Agency experience
Proficient in the use of MS Excel, with extensive experience creating and using macros
Exceptional stakeholder management skills
Experience of managing third party suppliers
Experience of using Salesforce
