Tax Manager - Edinburgh

What You'll Enjoy

  • Hybrid Working: Up to 2 days working from home with manager approval

What You'll Be Responsible For



  • Managing a diverse portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients

  • Overseeing the preparation and review of corporation tax and personal tax returns

  • Providing technical tax advice to clients on a range of tax matters (e.g. tax planning, restructuring, inheritance tax)

  • Leading and mentoring the tax team to ensure consistent high performance

  • Ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations and industry best practices

  • Reviewing tax computations, disclosures, and handling complex cases

  • Managing risk and identifying areas for client service improvement

  • Liaising with external advisors and regulatory bodies as required


What You'll Bring



  • ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualification

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience managing a tax department and compliance cycle

  • Deep understanding of UK tax legislation and practical application

  • Excellent communication, advisory, and leadership skills

  • Ability to manage deadlines, priorities, and multiple client needs effectively
