Location: Overseal
Hourly Rate: £16.00
Shift: AM Shift 6:00am to 2:00pm, Monday to Friday (with future flexibility required for a potential two-shift system: 08:30am 5:00pm)

Are you an experienced supervisor with a strong background in labour planning and production? Were looking for a Brick Cutting Supervisor to lead and support a dynamic team in a busy production environment.
?? Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of around 14 operatives, managing performance, absences, and employee relations.
- Plan and allocate daily labour to maximise the efficiency of brick cutting machinery.
- Oversee production planning, including sequencing of operations to meet output targets.
- Identify and implement lean manufacturing improvements to drive efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and support the maintenance of machinery a solid understanding of production equipment is essential.
- Communicate effectively across teams and shifts to ensure smooth operations.
- Proven experience supervising production or manufacturing teams.
- Skilled in labour and production planning.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and how to apply them practically.
- Hands-on knowledge of general production machinery, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to a dual-shift working model in the near future.
