Mechanical Engineer (Building Services / MEP) - Edinburgh - 35 to 50K

Lorien's client, an award-winning, Scottish-born success story with around half a century of history behind them, are looking to expand their team on the back of a brand-new recruitment drive and a boom in the business pipeline.

Having helped them secure new talent ourselves already, their hiring focuses are now set on a Mechanical Design Engineer with a background in Building Services, and they're open to applications from Junior to Senior level candidates alike (they've just taken on a Graduate, so they're looking for someone to bring at least some commercial exposure to the table). There's something for everyone to learn and they're brilliant at helping talented people reach their potential, so read on if you're keen!

You'll work with a wider team of like-minded design specialists and tackle mechanical design focused commercial, retail and residential projects for the public and private sectors. You'll enjoy a varied workload ready to go from day one, and see your efforts drive the delivery of a number of exciting ventures for a growing list of key clients.

Salary-wise depends on the level you're comfortable coming in at, but this ranges between 35K and 50K, and there are also plenty of training and progression opportunities on offer for those who want to keep on learning and moving up the ranks!

The kind of skills/knowledge they're looking for you to bring:

• Design background specifically in a Building Services context
• AutoCAD
• Revit / similar
• Ideally MEPWorx / similar and open to learning
