We are currently seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join a dynamic Finance team. In this role, you will oversee the accounting, reporting, and cash settlement of international carrier liabilities, providing clear insights and ensuring compliance with financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage international carrier liability balances, preparing reconciliations, identifying variances, and recommending solutions.
- Act as the key point of contact for queries with internal stakeholders and external carrier partners.
- Prepare and present monthly and periodic analysis of creditor movements, comparing to budgets and prior year balances.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for carrier liabilities.
- Own and streamline the balance sheet reconciliation process, driving process improvements.
- Develop and document controls for carrier liability management.
- Support the transformation of cash forecasting processes.
- Build strong business partnerships with Commercial Finance, Data and Controls, and Group Reporting teams.
- Provide mentorship to junior finance team members and contribute to a positive team environment.
Key Criteria:
- Qualified accountant (CA/ACCA/CIMA) with 2+ years of post-qualification experience.
- Strong experience in financial accounting and management reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills (financial modelling and data analysis).
- Experience working with integrated finance systems across multiple business units.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial insights clearly.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to investigate details while maintaining a broader perspective.
- Proficiency in a European language (French, Italian, Spanish, or German) is desirable but not required.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
