Salary and benefits: £33,300 to £35,000 plus 8% bonus up to 16%, private medical cover, 38 days annual leave, excellent pension, 12x salary life assurance, career breaks, income protection, 3x volunteering days and much more

The role

We are currently recruiting a team of Annuity Customer Consultants to join our Advice and Guidance team. This is a fantastic opportunity if you enjoy building rapport and putting customers at the heart of what you do. If you have a burning desire to connect with customers and create an exceptional and engaging experience to help them make the most of their money now and for their future.

You will support our customers who are looking to purchase a guaranteed income for life through an Annuity plan, providing guidance to customers in relation to purchasing and setting up an annuity, either through Standard Life or via the whole of market. You will interact with customer requests on an inbound and outbound basis, via telephone, mail, email, online and utilising hybrid technology.

The programme includes on-going training and development that will enable you to progress to full competence.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service within Financial Services, ideally with knowledge of pension products and experience of managing risk
• A commitment to study and achieve Financial Services qualification R04 along with achieving full competence within 12 months
• Experience of conducting customer focused conversations
• Effective questioning and listening skills with the ability to build rapport with customers over the telephone
