We have an exciting opportunity for a talented individual with corporate governance and reporting experience to join the Capital Markets Department at the FCA.

The FCA’s Capital Markets Department plays a pivotal role at the heart of the UK’s wholesale financial markets. We set rules that govern how financial markets operate and supervise firms that are engaged in those markets. You will join a dedicated team of policy professionals and supervisors who are focused on shaping creative and evidence-based regulatory solutions that benefit consumers, markets, and competition. We work collaboratively, including with stakeholders across the FCA and externally, to solve problems and deliver market integrity. We are committed to sharing our knowledge and encouraging new ideas.

  • Significant exposure to capital markets and the corporate reporting and governance environments whilst working closely with a wide array of stakeholders, including market participants, trade and other regulatory and government bodies both within the UK and internationally
  • To be active in shaping wholesale markets and the area of corporate reporting in the UK and internationally both at standard setting and supervisory level
  • Exposure to FCA Senior Management, with periodic discussions at both the executive regulation and policy committee and the FCA Board
