Pertemps are currently recruiting for 7.5t drivers for our public sector client to be based in the Edinburgh area supporting a busy waste and cleansing department.Location: Edinburgh City CentreHours of Work: 4 days on 4 days off 06.00-17.02 with 45min breakRate of Pay: £13.48 - £15.08 per hourTemporary ongoing workDuties to Include:
  • Driving the relevant vehicles (cage vehicle, litter press, hako, sweeper)
  • Working as part of a team
  • Heavy lifting - moving and loading, assisting with special uplifts
  • Undertaking the appropriate vehicle checks and paperwork
  • General street cleaning duties (sweeping, litter picking, weeding)
Essential requirements:
  • Valid 7.5t/C1 Driving Licence
  • Valid CPC Training Card
  • Valid Tacho Card
  • Maximum of 6 points on your licence
Successful candidates will:
  • Be flexible
  • Be reliable
  • Have excellent knowledge on driving around Edinburgh
  • Be health and safety conscious
  • Have good customer service skills
  • Have previous driving experience
  • Work outdoors in all weather
