This is an entry-level opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a luxury piercing environment, and would suit someone with a genuine love for piercings, an eye for detail, and a desire to grow within the industry.

You must be available to work weekends, especially Saturdays and Sundays.

This role is based at our Luxury Piercing Parlour and Jewellery Boutique at 52 Thistle Street, Edinburgh.

Full time role - you must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays.

Pay: £13 per hour.

So, what will you be doing?

We’re looking for a passionate Piercing Apprentice and Jewellery Stylist to join our team.

This hybrid role will involve supporting our head piercer during appointments, assisting with client care and aftercare guidance, and working on the shop floor to help customers with styling, ear curation, and jewellery selection.

Who we’re looking for

• The most important thing is that you’re obsessed with piercings and jewellery and want to learn everything about them.


• Some basic knowledge of piercings and jewellery types is essential, but you don’t need to be fully trained - we’ll give you all the support and mentoring you need to grow into the role.


• You’ll need to be friendly, professional, and calm under pressure, with a real appreciation for both luxury service and customer experience.


• Retail or hospitality experience is a bonus, but not essential.

Responsibilities:

• Assist our head piercer piercers during appointments by prepping jewellery, cleaning tools and helping clients feel at ease.


• Offer jewellery styling advice and support customers in choosing the perfect pieces.


• Ensure clients complete consent forms and are briefed on aftercare procedures.


• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the piercing space and boutique.


• Operate the till and process sales using card payments.


• Stay informed on industry trends and new product launches.


• Support with stock handling, restocking displays and general shop organisation.

• A genuine interest in piercings, jewellery and fashion.


• Excellent communication and customer service skills.


• Confidence working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.


• High attention to hygiene, cleanliness and professionalism.


• A desire to learn and grow as a piercer over time.
