Job Description



One of our Biggest Global E Commerce Clients are seeking a highly skilled lead developer to spearhead one of our development teams. This role is crucial as we have successfully decommissioned 22 legacy API services over the past 12 months, which has led to doubling engineering productivity and enabling new features to be built more efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development and demonstrate adaptability in working with various technologies.



Responsibilities

• Review the usage data of various API endpoints.
• Communicate effectively with different teams using these APIs.
• Shut down endpoints and complete the deprecation process.
• Collaborate with the delivery lead for reporting purposes.
• Provide guidance and support to a team of developers.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Java.
• Experience with AWS.
• Knowledge of Unix and Linux systems.
• Adaptive to new technologies (Perl /Python)

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
