Investment Operations Analyst - #1717541

We’re on the lookout for an Investment Operations Analyst to join our busy Asset Servicing Team. You will primarily be working in the Distributions Team and the role will encompass processing both Income and Accumulation Dividends, AMC payments and client interest payments within agreed timeframes. Integral to this role is organisation and attention to detail. This means being a pro at managing daily tasks assigned to you and supporting the Team in a variety of investment operations functions. Every day you’ll manage your assigned tasks, ensuring actions are dealt with within agreed timeframes, enabling our advisers to get the best outcome for their clients.

You’ll spend your time:

• Supporting the Investment Operations Team across the investment lifecycle, initially working within Dividend processing but supporting other teams (Trading/Corporate Actions etc) where necessary.
• Building and maintaining third-party relationships as ensuring we get the best from our suppliers for our clients is at the heart of everything we do
• Managing internal and external queries, across multiple channels
• Liaising with Fund Managers & Brokers
• Checking the work of your peers
• Updating procedures & controls
• Sharing your knowledge across the platform operations team and wider business

A bit about you

Your friends would probably describe you as the “super-organised” one, ridiculously well planned and someone who takes time to really understand people and their needs. You’re the type of person who asks great questions to understand expectations but can react like lightening to solve problems as they occur.

We’ve always placed more importance on cultural contribution above technical ability, but we’d really like you to have/be:

• Previous experience in the financial services industry and ideally working with a wrap platform
• Understanding of the trading process, from execution through to settlement and reconciliation.
• Knowledge of different asset classes and impact to operational processes
• Excellent relationship building skills
• Able to prioritise the high impact work, but never neglect the details
• Excellent communication skills – We need you to be completely comfortable representing our culture and values, with an emphasis on a speedy, friendly style
• Able to anticipate the needs of those you work with, juggling conflicting priorities
• The ability to think laterally and come up with new solutions to old problems
