We’re seeking exceptional Catering Assistant to join the Constellation team and be part of our growing talent across Scotland.
Working at Stewart Melville College you will be working closely with the Front of House and Back of House to ensure smooth delivery and service. Shifts may very however times are 11.30am - 3.30pm.
While schools are on Holiday you can work at other venues across Scotland - expand your knowledge and skillset!!

As a Part-Time Catering Assistant, you’ll be an integral part of our catering team, with preparations of the FOH and BOH requirements and creating a welcoming atmosphere for every guest.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Guest Interaction: Engaging with guests, taking orders, and providing recommendations to ensure a personalised and enjoyable experience.
- Efficiency: Working efficiently to serve food and drinks in a timely manner, even during busy periods, while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
- Team Collaboration: Working collaboratively with other staff members to ensure smooth operations and exceed guest expectations.
- Cleanliness: Cleaning of all cooking utensils as required by the culinary team. Ensuring all cutlery, crockery and glassware is professionally cleaned before and after use.
- Communication: Communicating with the kitchen team and front of house colleagues to ensure smooth delivery.
- Health and Safety: Operating cleaning machinery as shown and trained in accordance with our company policy. Adhering to all policies with regards to Health & Safety, Hygiene, Manual Handling and COSHH.
- Housekeeping: Cleaning kitchen, sweeping & mopping floors, removing waste correctly into the appropriate areas and any other duties required.
We're looking for Catering Assistant's who are:
- Experienced: Previous knowledge or experience in a Catering Assistant role for large venues or high-class events and busy venues.
- Passionate: A genuine passion for hospitality, with a desire to create memorable experiences for our guests.
- Personable: Friendly, outgoing, and able to connect with guests of all backgrounds and ages.
- Adaptable: Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure, even during busy shifts.
- Team Player: Collaborative and supportive, with a willingness to pitch in and help out wherever needed to ensure the success of the team.
- Time Management: Punctuality is key, arriving on time shows reliability and respect for your role and team.
- Must be 18 and over

Pay rate:
£12.21+ per hour + Holiday Pay
