My client is looking for an assistant editor to join the team that produces its suite of RadCom publications and manages its news desk
The successful candidate will be involved in magazine production, sub-editing, writing articles, and planning content. You will be a core part of the editorial team, working closely with (and being managed by) the RadCom Managing Editor

Commissioning articles and liaising with authors
Sub-editing copy from contributors and columnists
Guiding content for RadCom Basics and RadCom Plus supplements
Participating in producing a weekly news script
Responding to queries on technical and amateur radio licensing
Developing the RadCom portfolio and exploring new media opportunities
Candidate requirements:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Experience with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop is highly desirable
Positive attitude, enthusiasm for technology, and excellent English skills
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Knowledge of radio and electronics, including amateur radio, is desirable
