Our client, one of the UK's leading providers of Facilities Services, is seeking a Finance Systems Administrator to support and maintain finance systems across the UK and Ireland, ensuring efficient data management, system maintenance, and reporting.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with systems, integrations, and internal controls while providing vital support to various stakeholders.
Job Description
Key responsibilities include system administration, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with ITGC (Internal Controls) standards. You will also assist in managing integrations between core systems, ensuring smooth operations and data integrity.Additionally, you will report to and support the Finance Systems Accountant with ad-hoc tasks and projects, offering opportunities to develop skills and gain exposure to finance technology initiatives.This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional looking to grow within a dynamic finance and IT environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage central financial data sets for accurate reporting.
- Perform data validation checks and cleansing to ensure high-quality data.
- Administer and support Microsoft Dynamics NAV and OneStream UK Planning application.
- Handle system administration and ITGC responsibilities.
- Provide first-line user support, escalating issues as needed.
- Conduct technical testing and support UAT for system updates and fixes.
- Collaborate with Data Warehouse and automation teams for system improvements.
- Work with stakeholders on system requirements, integration, and optimisation projects.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues across multiple finance systems.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- Proven experience in the administration of Finance systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics NAV, ERP systems).
- Strong understanding of structured data management, ensuring data integrity and compliance with standards.
- Experience integrating and supporting systems such as BI tools, OneStream, Sievo, Coupa, Saffron, Maximo, and internal Data warehouses.
- Knowledge of databases, including table structures, relationships, and data management.
- SQL skills for querying and analysis (desirable).
- Experience with automation tools for data integration and reporting.
- Proficient in using case management tools like Jira to provide first-line end-user support.
- Strong understanding of reporting systems, data flows, and their impact on financial and operational reporting.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and a methodical approach to system testing and issue resolution.
