Meraki Talent are partnered with a reputable professional services firm in Edinburgh to appoint a Business Development Executive to their dynamic BD and Marketing team. This is a full-time, permanent appointment.

You'll play a central role in driving forward marketing and business development activity and working closely with senior colleagues to support client growth, market visibility, and sector strategy. From shaping compelling pitches to delivering high-profile events and content, you'll have a varied and impactful role that truly makes a difference.


What you'll be doing:



  • Delivery of innovative business development and marketing campaigns.

  • Conduct market research and identify opportunities for growth and engagement.

  • Assist in the preparation of winning proposals and formal responses to client tenders.

  • Help develop marketing assets including sector overviews, bios, credentials, and website content.

  • Create and manage content for newsletters, social media, email campaigns, and digital platforms.

  • Plan and coordinate impactful client events and internal initiatives.

  • Build strong working relationships across the firm to ensure seamless delivery of business development initiatives.

  • Contribute to wider team projects and support ongoing marketing goals.


What we're looking for:



  • Minimum of two years' experience in a business development or marketing role.

  • A motivated and forward-thinking individual with a proactive mindset.

  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal.

  • Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail.
