Role Overview of a Service & Maintenance Engineer

  • Maintain & service fire detection, alarm, and gas suppression systems.
  • Commission new devices within existing fire safety setups.
  • Respond to reactive and scheduled maintenance calls, ensuring compliance with British Standards & BAFE regulations.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to satisfy our high-end clients.
  • Support business operations across projects and sales.
  • Be an integral part of the on-call rota, with overtime opportunities.

What You Need

  • Experience with fire alarm systems like GENT, Siemens, Morley, Kentec, Notifier, Ziton & Eaton.
  • Knowledge of ATEX, VESDA, and graphical user interfaces.
  • Electrical background preferred, with FIA certifications (Units 1, 4 & 5) desirable.
  • Ability to diagnose faults accurately and work under pressure.
  • Strong IT & customer service skills, ensuring smooth operations and client satisfaction.
