About The Role
This post is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic pharmacist looking to specialise or advance in respiratory and cardiology medicine.
You Will
- Play a key role in the pharmaceutical care of patients.
- Collaborate closely with the respiratory pharmacy team and wider multidisciplinary team (MDT) to optimise patients’ medicines and care.
- Engage in both inpatient and outpatient settings, provide counselling and opportunity to participate in prescribing activity.
- Support and develop other members of the pharmacy team, including trainee pharmacists, junior pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and pharmacy support workers.
- Benefit from opportunities for service improvement, independent prescribing training, delivery of education and training and other personal and professional development initiatives.

- Multi-disciplinary ward rounds.
- Specialist outpatient clinics such as cystic fibrosis, interstitial lung disease and complex infection.
- Service development projects to improve patient care and utilising skill mix within the pharmacy team.
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
- A Master of Pharmacy Degree (or equivalent) and General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) registration.
- Completion of or have equivalent competence mapped to the .
- A commitment to improving patient care through pro-active, evidence-based pharmaceutical services.
- Experience in influencing prescribing practices and working in a patient-focused environment.
