Job purpose

Summary - Ralph Sayer officially launched in October 2022, making us a relatively new firm with modern ideas. However, we have hundreds of years of experience amongst us. Environment

Office based.

We have an open plan office with less than 30 people. We are a close-knit group and work closely together.

What might a day in this role look like?

Duties

• Liaising with clients in a polite, friendly and caring manner via telephone, email, in-person
• Opening and allocating mail
• Drafting standard documents/emails from audio dictation
• Managing fee earner’s diary and schedule
• Additional duties will be added to the role upon training and experience
• SVQ Level 3 in Business and Administration
• Industry related training provided on the job within the field of customer service and private client.
• Soft Skills including appropriate communication with vulnerable and stressed people who are experiencing a difficult time in their lives
  
  

What qualifications/skills are required?

• National 5 or equivalent which should include English and Maths. Business Management preferred but not essential.
• Proficient in using IT
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to demonstrate empathy and compassion for bereaved and/or vulnerable people
• Strong attention to detail
• Organised with the ability to prioritise tasks
