Job Description

As such, Direct Medics are working in partnership with NHS Scotland to find an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Biomedical Scientist who will be based in a Pathology Laboratory in Edinburgh. Experience required in Microtomy (including cores) IQC – HEs and special stains Embedding (including cores) Clip up of specimens.

This role is required asap for 3 months initially. Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5pm.

Requirements

• HCPC Registered Biomedical Scientist
• IBMS Specialist Portfolio in Pathology (Desirable) OR significant post registration pathology experience (UK based)
• Right to live and work in the UK
