Network Records Assistant (<7bar Gas Distribution)

Maintaining a current and thorough knowledge of the <7bar Gas Distribution supply system Supporting development of the supply system in a safe and efficient manner Carrying out all stages of the <7bar Gas Distribution Network Validation Process to ensure the accuracy of SGN’s Gas Distribution Network Analysis computer models Determining the optimum method of network operation consistent with minimising costs and maintaining statutory obligations Providing an efficient and effective service to operations departments
What You Will Need
Due to the nature of the work carried out by Network Planning, the successful candidate will be exposed to a wide range of activities from across the SGN business. As such, this is a key opportunity to be exposed to and develop an understanding of those activities.
With a positive and flexible approach to work you will be highly motivated with good organisational, diagnostic and problem-solving skills. In addition, you need to be an effective communicator at all levels and be able to act on your own initiative. Candidate would also be expected to demonstrate high level of computer literacy and associated skills. It is essential that you are committed to the SGN values and play a key role in your team delivering SGN targets while operating within our safety golden rules.
While any successful candidate would normally be expected to be degree qualified, this requirement may be relaxed where candidate demonstrates exceptional abilities in terms of criteria specified above.
