About the role
As our Insight Copywriter, you'll be the bridge between data and storytelling. You'll work closely with analysts, researchers, and senior partners to craft clear, engaging, and emotionally intelligent narratives from customer insights, behavioural trends, and market intelligence. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, insight-rich environment and is passionate about the power of language to influence and inform.
Key responsibilities:
Translate complex data and research into clear, compelling copy for a range of audiences and formats.
Create stories that bring insight to life customer understanding and impact across written reports, presentations, and strategic documents.
Collaborate with insight analysts, researchers, marketers, and business leaders to shape the narrative around customer behaviour and business performance.
Ensure consistency of tone, clarity, and impact across all insight communications.
Advocate for storytelling best practices and help embed a narrative-led approach across the wider insight function.
About you
Copywriting expertise: Proven experience in copywriting, content strategy, or storytelling - ideally within financial services, consultancy, or a data-driven environment.
Microsoft tools: Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (M365) tools - especially Word, PowerPoint, and Teams - to create, collaborate, and present insight-driven content effectively.
Insight literacy: Strong understanding of customer insight, behavioural data, and research communication.
Writing craft: Exceptional writing, editing, and conceptual thinking skills. Ability to simplify complex ideas without losing nuance or meaning.
Proven experience: A portfolio that demonstrates your ability to inform, persuade, and inspire through written content.
Cross group engagement: Confidence working with senior partners and cross-functional teams.
About working for us…
Our focus is to ensure we're inclusive every day, building an organisation that reflects modern society and celebrates diversity in all its forms. We want our people to feel that they belong and can be their best, regardless of background, identity, or culture. We were one of the first major organisations to set goals on diversity in senior roles, build a menopause health package, and a dedicated Working with Cancer initiative. And it's why we especially welcome applications from under-represented groups. We're disability confident. So, if you'd like reasonable adjustments to be made to our recruitment processes, just let us know.
