Fryern Dental Practice is a fully private, friendly, established practice with 4 surgeries and a fantastic reputation in the area, we have a long standing team of associates delivering dental services, supported by a team of fully-trained, qualified professional support staff. The team has 4 dentists; 1 of whom has a special interest in dental implants and 1 in helping phobic and very nervous patients some of who need to be treated under sedation.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and providing exceptional patient care. This position requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to promoting good oral hygiene



*Clinic times*:
* Monday 9:00am - 5:00pm
* Thursday 9:00am - 5:00pm
* Friday 9:00am - 3:00pm
*Specialisms:*
* Implants
* Sedation
*Key responsibilities & duties: *
* Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
* Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental care.
* Assist in the identification of periodontal disease and other oral health issues.
* Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatments and observations.
* Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
* Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
* Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies
* 30 minute appointment times.
* Full Nurse support.
*Licence/Certification:*
* A suitable Dental Hygienist for this position must be GDC registered, have at least 4 years UK Dental Hygiene experience, valid indemnity insurance and right to work in the UK.
*Work experience and skills: *
* The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years experience as a fully qualified Dental Hygienist.
* Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
* Attention to detail and strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
