Edinburgh University Students' Association is looking to recruit a Finance Officer to join our Finance & Business Reporting team.
Edinburgh University Students’ Association is an award-winning organisation, which exists to provide diverse services, representation, and welfare support to the community of over 49,500 students at the University of Edinburgh. Salary: £27,622 - £28,732 (pro-rata) (Band C)
In line with our Pay Policy, the successful candidate will typically be offered the lowest salary band point, dependent on experience.

The Role:
This is a part-time Finance Officer role reporting directly to the Finance Team Co-ordinator within the Finance & Business Reporting team. This role has responsibility for maintaining the sales ledger, chasing outstanding debt, managing the incoming and outgoing payments of the university societies, and providing support on processing banking transactions.
The Person:
An appropriately experienced individual who demonstrates the ability to process large volumes of financial information accurately and on time with good attention to detail. Strong communication skills and an analytical approach are key in this role along with an ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
A strong commitment to the values of the organisation is required, along with a desire to make a positive contribution to the Students Association overall.
