Positions Available: Director

Are you ready to be part of something truly unique in the world of tax consultancy? A boutique tax firm, based in Scotland, is reshaping the industry with its innovative approach. They are not your typical accounting firm – tax is their sole focus, and they provide a fully-fledged tax service covering Corporate Tax, Private Client Tax, Indirect Tax, M&A/Deals Tax, and R&D Services.

The Business:

Their outlook is that tax is more than just numbers – it's about providing strategic solutions that drive business success. With a major focus on Owner managed businesses and Deals, Private Equity, and Corporate Finance sectors, they cater to clients without in-house tax teams, offering specialised expertise tailored to their needs. The business prides itself on a transparent pricing model – no timesheets, just fair pricing for the value they deliver.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance on a wide range of tax matters, including Corporate Tax, M&A, Tax Structuring and high level Tax advisory services.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their unique needs and develop tailored tax strategies that align with their objectives.
  • Support clients in navigating tax considerations during mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, sharing knowledge and expertise to foster growth and development.

Requirements:

  • A strong background in tax having worked in either Practice or in-house tax teams with a proven track record within Corporate Tax Advisory.
  • In-depth knowledge of tax legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Professional qualifications such as CTA or equivalent are desirable.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Flexible remote work options.
  • Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
  • Collaborative and supportive work environment.
