About the Company
Our client is a leading European manufacturer of high-quality tissue paper products, expanding their footprint into the UK market with a brand new manufacturing facility. With a strong commitment to sustainability, innovation and customer satisfaction, they are now seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to drive growth across Scotland.
The Role
As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing sales of their tissue paper and household products into independent retailers, convenience stores, wholesale and cash & carry across Scotland.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage relationships with independent retailers and regional distributors.
- Identify new business opportunities and grow market share in the convenience sector.
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with national goals.
- Conduct regular field visits to maintain strong customer relationships.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform strategy.
- Report on sales performance and forecasts to senior management.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in FMCG sales, ideally within tissue paper, household products, or related categories.
- Strong network within the convenience retail or distributor landscape in Scotland.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region.
