Spacelabs Healthcare is seeking a hands-on Principal Automation Test Engineer to lead the strategy, design, and delivery of test automation for our next-generation networked patient monitoring platform. Youll work across systems, hardware, software, and verification teams to ensure robust testing for complex, real-time hospital environments.

Spacelabs Healthcare is seeking a hands-on Principal Automation Test Engineer to lead the strategy, design, and delivery of test automation for our next-generation networked patient monitoring platform. Youll work across systems, hardware, software, and verification teams to ensure robust testing for complex, real-time hospital environments.
Your Impact
- Drive the design and implementation of test automation architecture
- Lead requirement reviews and interface design discussions
- Plan and manage the automation backlog with cross-functional teams
- Mentor engineers and promote high-quality engineering practices
- Ensure timely delivery of automated test solutions and documentation
- 10+ years in software engineering, including 4+ years in test automation leadership
- Deep expertise in Python, OOP principles, CI/CD workflows, and Agile methods
- Experience with automation tools and modern test practices
- Bonus for experience with Qt/QML, Squish, embedded Linux, regulated industries, and global team collaboration
