HRC are recruiting for experienced support workers in and around East Calder . Whether you are looking for your next permanent role, or even to top up your current hours and gain some extra experience.

What does your day to day look like?

• Providing emotional and practical support, encouraging the people you support to achieve their own personal goals and outcomes
• Accompanying and participating in meaningful activities such as community involvement and relationship-building exercises
• Working within a team, you will be providing support to adults in line with agreed care plans
• Assisting with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and medication management, ensuring utmost respect and dignity.
• Monitoring and reporting any changes in individual's physical or emotional health, collaborating with the care team for appropriate interventions.
• Maintaining accurate records of support provided, ensuring compliance with documentation requirements.

Are you who we are looking for?

• You are kind, compassionate and empathetic
• You have at least 6 months experience working as a support worker in the UK
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong rapport and establish trusting relationships.
• You like to be on the go and enjoy being busy
• You have a valid drivers license
