Static Site Role

FM Search & Select are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Technician to join a large residential development in Edinburgh.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone from a maintenance, FM, handyman, or building services background looking for a stable, long-term static site role within a modern residential environment.

Working as part of the on-site team, you will be responsible for ensuring the building and communal areas are maintained to a high standard while providing excellent service to residents and visitors.

The Role

Duties will include:

Carrying out general planned and reactive maintenance

Basic plumbing, joinery, and fabric repairs

Minor electrical maintenance and repairs

Painting and decorating touch-ups

Supporting contractors on site

Carrying out site inspections and reporting defects

Maintaining communal areas to a high standard

Responding to maintenance requests from residents and management teams

Requirements

Previous maintenance / handyman / FM experience

Good all-round building maintenance knowledge

Strong customer service and communication skills

Ability to work independently and manage workload

Reliable and proactive attitude

Full UK Driving Licence preferred

Package

Salary up to £30,000 DOE

Static site role

Monday – Friday working pattern
